We of course had to have a hand dipped corn dog and cotton candy (Brigetta's favorite!). Bob decided to try his hand at the dunk tank, which he hit the target on his second throw! Next year we hope to check out the state fair in Raleigh.

Mountain State Fair 9-06-08
We decided to take Robby to his first state fair in Fletcher, North Carolina. It was a very hot day with little shade. Robby loved the animals. We even saw mini potbelly pigs, so cute! But Robby was not a fan of the hog races. The announcer of the races was a bit too loud! There were unusual attractions like bears doing tricks and tractor races.
