The Results are in...

After the scare with the peanut butter we took Robby to an allergist to get him tested. The doctor decided to draw blood instead of doing scratch tests because he did not want to cause any more bad reactions. Drawing blood proved to be a bit more challenging than they thought. I ended up having to bring Robby back in the following Monday because their first attempt was not successful. Thankfully, the second time the nurse was able to get enough to test all nuts. It took only a day to get the results in. He is allergic to ALL nuts! This means he cannot have a lot of food since it either contains nuts or is processed on machinery that uses nut. Robby has endured a lot of changes, but has been such a trooper!We are now armed with Benadryl and epi pens wherever we go. The hope is that we will never need to use them, but are prepared just in case.
